Makeup For Under $5

Hi and welcome to Little Miss Holly, I’ve recently done a little bit of makeup shopping and I found some bits and pieces that were under $5, that I really love. Enjoy 🙂

I’m going to start with a matte lipstick from Ulta3. I’ve never had any of their makeup before, only the nail polishes. I had seen a lot of review on Ulta3 products around WordPress so I thought I would give something from them a try. This lipstick is in the shade 066 Nudey. It’s a pretty shade for summer/spring because it is a light, pinky peach nude colour. I have found this lipstick looks smooth on my upper lip bit on my bottom lip it’s a bit uneven and patchy. Even after I exfoliate my lips, but it does help a little bit. This is probably just because my bottom lip is a little bit dry and chapped. I like to top off this lipstick with a little swipe of my Essence XXXL shine lipgloss, this makes my lips look all even. I’m interested in trying another lipstick from Ulta3, one of their non matte ones.

The Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss definitely has a lot of shine. It’s a sparkly lipgloss that has a sweet, fruity scent to it. Unfortunately I don’t know what shade I have, I think it may have rubbed off, but it’s a light pink colour which looks nice and pretty. The doefoot applicator is soft and let’s you sweep the lipgloss onto your lips lightly and smoothly.

Next is the BYS Eyeliner in Waterproof, the shade 01 Black. This eyeliner is very black but still is a thin consistency. The applicator allows you to apply thicker or thinner lines and I found it was easy to do an eyeliner look.

Last but not least is the Essence Silky Touch Blush in the shade 90 Summer Dreaming. It’s a very smooth and soft blush which gives you a light, pretty colour to your cheeks with a little sparkle as well.

All these products I bought for under $5AU and I think they are all a great bargain for their money.
I hope you enjoyed this post, if you have any questions or requests please feel free to leave a comment.

Love, Holly
