Daily Fitness Routine

Hi and welcome to Little Miss Holly. Today I will be showing you my daily fitness routine. I’m not going to lie, I’ve only done this a couple of times and then forgotten about it for like 2 weeks, so I’m hoping by writing this post it will remind me to do this every day.

•Daily Fitness Routine•

20 sit ups

30 squats

20 forward lunges

20 back lunges

60 second wall sit

10 burpees

25 toes raises

15 push ups

60 second plank

80 star jumps

I know this looks like a lot but it actually goes really quickly.

I am planning to do this routine 1 to 2 times a day and after a while of doing it I will probably increase each step a little.

I have also been loving Lorna Jane Clarksons ‘Nourish, The Fit Woman’s Cookbook’ it has so many healthy recipes inside plus tips on active living.

I hope you enjoyed this post if you have any questions or requests feel free to leave a comment.

Plant Room Decor

Hi and welcome to Little Miss Holly. I really like the look of plants in rooms, I fell like it softens the room and gives it a really nice touch. I suprisingly didn’t have and greenery in my room so I decided to do some DIY’s and I thought I would share them with you.

Firstly is this succulent in a tea light holder. I picked up the tea light holders from Pillow Talk on sale, they are a really cute geometric design and I got one white and one black. I put some dirt into the holders and stuck in a clipping of this succulent which I got from my garden. This one I chose because it’s a succulent and they don’t need much water.

This next one is sooo pretty. It’s basically just a vase with some really pretty flowers in them. This vase is also from Pillow Talk, there is many designs to choose from. I have the white one with the quote ‘Be Happy’ on it but others had different quotes and colours, this was also really cheap. I arranged flowers in it, I got them from a garden near by.

Last one is this Aloe Vera Plant in a mason jar. I’ve seen lots of pins in Pinterest of plants in mason jars so I decided to make my own. All you need is a mason jar/jar or a glass vase, soil, pebbles and a plant. I chose Aloe Vera because there is a lot of it in my garden and they are easy to look after. They need barely any water but lots of sun, so I will be placing it in different areas around my room so it can have as much sun as possible.

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you have any questions or requests feel free to leave them in the comments.

Ways to Make Your Room Super Cosy (Tumblr Inspired!)

Hi and welcome to Little Miss Holly, for this blog post I will be telling you 8 ways to make your room more cosy and nice to be in. I’m always wanting to do new things with my room and over time I’ve found these things will make your room a pretty, tumblr inspired place great for hanging out in with your friends.

1. Fairy Lights

Fairy lights are a must. They make your room so cosy at night and they look really pretty. Awesome places to put fairy lights are on your bed head, around windows, around your desk, around all the walls of your bedroom and many more. Warm lights are my favourite. (Very Tumblr!)

2. Pillows

You can change the feel of your room so easily with pillows. You can go colourful, for a fresh, bright feeling, or dull pillows, for a more cosy, chilled room. Try and make the textures of the pillows a bit different, the same with the patterns or colours. This is to ensure the pillows stay fun and you don’t get bored of them.

3. Lamp

At night I don’t like having my big light on, instead, fairy lights and a lamp. I prefer lamps that are not so bright they make it feel like your big light is on, but more of a dull, warm lamp (but still bright enough to read).

4. Throw

A throw is another great way to make your room super cosy. I like to have one of my bed so at night if I’m on YouTube or reading a book I can just snuggle up in it. I also love them for when I’m watching tv.

5. Photos

I love having photos on display in my room because it reminds me of the fun memories I’ve had in the past.

6. Things on the walls

By putting pictures, wall art, posters etc, on the walls of your bedroom your room won’t feel so bare but instead more welcoming and interesting to be in.

7. Something to sit on

When friends come around its good for them to have somewhere to sit. I know with small rooms this can be quite hard. Even if it’s a chair for your desk, an armchair, a sofa or a carpet.

8. Dream catchers

I know this one is quite random, but I feel dream catchers give your room a calm feeling, plus these are very Tumblr.
I hope you enjoyed this post, if you have any questions or request please feel free to leave them in the comments.

Back to School Stationary

Hi and welcome to LittleMissHolly, for this blog post I will be showing you my top 5 back to school stationary. It’s a nice feeling going back to school with new stationary and so this is what I will be using in 2016.
I will be using two things from Kikki.K this year, the first is their ‘Colour Me Happy, Felt Tip Pens’. These pens are so vibrant and come in many different shades, the packaging in simple but effective. I use these pens for many reasons, including colouring in, drawing and writing. The downside to the packaging, is they get a little bit dirty when in my pencil case.

The second thing from Kikki.K I picked up is the ‘To Do List Pad’ from the ‘Hello Yellow’ collection. I love everything in the ‘Hello Yellow’ section, it’s all so cute. This note pad is nice and big so I won’t take it to school, instead I will leave it on my desk so I can write due dates etc.

Pencil Case
Unfortunately, I don’t know what shop this super cute pencil case is from, all I know is it is from a market stall in Singapore. This pencil case has a lot more room than it looks and a little pocket inside with a zip. On the front and back it says ” May you always have enough happiness to keep you sweet,” and I think the lace gives it a really nice effect.

I bought 5 A4 Spinout Notebooks this year. There is such a variety of covers to choose from and they are all adorable. There is 120 pages in each notebook, so there nice and big, which is fantastic.

I also have this A5 notebook from typo, it has the cutest front cover and the back is a pretty blue/green shade. I love this notebook because it is separated into 4 sections, with a cardboard pocket in between each section. These pockets are great for loose papers, pens, rulers, etc.

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you have any questions, or requests please feel free to leave a comment.
